I am not sure about how to start my answer. I love a lot of different styles of music and I listen to music all the time. I think if I had to put a style of music to represent my photography it would be pop music, downtempo, or rap. I love doing portraits and when I photograph movement, it feels like I am in a pop music video. I can’t explain why though, it is strange. The tempo and the fast paste from most pop albums might be why. The other style I feel like I can associate my photography with is downtempo (“Discovery” from AK is a great example) because it is the type of song that makes you feel like the main character. It makes you think. When I want to take pictures that reflect the personality or the emotions of if the person or the place I shoot, I think this would be it. When it comes to the more personal subject about myself and not portraits, I think about love, loss, family, relationships, etc. Rap music has a way to bring me in those feelings.
